It's been quite a year. In January we lost over half our oranges to the deep freeze. This was simply devastating but we held on to the Firewood sales and looked forward to the Pumpkin Season.
The Witch Creek Fire caused the loss of our School Tours and vital pre Halloween sales and the firewood sales will not return in any volume for at least 3 months after the fire.
Now we are faced with a Fruit Fly Quarantine which could trigger the loss of our Organic Certification. To say things are very unstable is the understatement of the year....again.

DURING THE LAST TWO MONTHS OF 2004 I WORKED HARD TO GATHER FUNDS TO PAYOFF MANY SMALL BILLS AND SETTLE WITH OTHERS AND MAKE PAYMENTS TO OTHERS.
ON CHRISTMAS EVE WELLS FARGO BANK REMOVED $20,780.00 FROM OUR ACCOUNT. ON 12-29 THEY TOOK THE REMAINING $5,460.00 AND LEFT ME WITH A BALANCE OF $3.64. THEY CALL THIS A "OFFSET" Although they replaced the $5,460.00 so I could pay the City of San Diego $5,500.00 on January 3rd we are still left in grave shape. NO DONATIONS WERE LOST! They go to a protected account.
We are still living one day at a time and had some great things in store for the New Year. Check back soon for "Breaking News" about a spring product we'll be offering online. We would also appreciate your helping to spread the word or...
